Font
|
This font would appeal
to the target audience because it is more than one colour and more than one
actual type of font. The font is sometimes slanted to make it look less
formal as they younger people wont read it if it does not appeal to them and
look boing.

Text
|
With this magazine that is aimed at little girls around 7-14 you
cannot really use mature and sophisticated vocabulary so you have to use
language that would appeal to the younger audience and they would feel like
they can connect to the magazine. So they use it like “Wow!” and “cool” which
you wouldn’t see on things like Q for example.
|
Colour
|
Compared to the majority of music magazines on the front cover they
are normal restrict themselves from putting to many colours on. Whereas on
this magazine they pile loads of bright feminine colours. This appeals to
there target audience because they will like a lot of pretty colours and
things that stand out from the rest.
|
Body Language/Staging
|
The main image of Justin Bieber is just causally looking at the camera
and does not have any body language as we can only really see his face. His
facial expression is a gentle smile, there is no teeth shown but he is not
got a blank expression.
|
Framing
|
The framing of the magazine front cover is cropped out so it is just
Justin Bieber’s face and this would appeal to the target audience because
young girls are really only attracted to his face and fans feel like they
need.
|
Lighting
|
On this magazine front cover there is no lighting on any parts of the
cover, there is no purposeful light on anyway. In fact the whole of Justin is
in really bright colours and this will attract their target audience because
it is easy to spot.
|
Composition: (overall design/ layout)
|
In this magazine you have enticements and they are four free giant
fold out posters of teen sensation Justin Bieber and this makes people buy
the magazine. This issue of this magazine is a Justin Bieber special so this
would attract a lot of there target audience.
